Barrel Works Cognac Imperial Stout 14% ABV
Imperial Stout aged for a year in 300 liter cognac barrels that we already use in 2020. With the second use of this barrel we have achieved that the base beer has a greater role and that the liquor, the wood and the base beer come together in harmony creating a round sensation in the mouth.
We find ourselves before a beer with two well-defined profiles: a first nose where notes of cognac and wood predominate, to later discover the base where cocoa, dried fruits such as pecans, candied fruit and liquorice are appreciated.
