This is one of 11 releases from barrel aging
Imperial Russian Stout. One brew, divided
in 11 different barrels and left to develop
and absorb the character and flavor
embedded in the wood. This one rested in a Glenrothes ex sherry cask. The
whiskey was lively, ripe with tropical fruit
and gently spicy, with sweet, almond-like
sherry notes. It will develop over time, but
this is excellent to drink now too.
