When a beer was pulled from a Blanton's keg for Three Layers, their friend Erik Busch of LongStory Coffee asked if he could use that keg to brew cask-aged coffee.
They then used that coffee during the conditioning process in this release.
Blend of Imperial Stouts, aged for 2 years in Buffalo Trace and 14 months in Stagg Jr. bourbon casks, then conditioned on LongStory Coffee barrel aged in a Millpond Blanton's cask used to create the previous release, Three Layers.
