We applied that absurdly delicious finish to a mix of Fundamental Observation Barrels filled in 2020, 2021 and 2022, then blended it with a chewy, lactose-based sweet stout for a liquid that can only rightly be called: more time to get out !Huge aromas of ripe blueberries and sweet maple syrup create waves of blueberry pancake-filled nostalgia. Bright blueberries open the palate, then bean and barrel oak vanilla reaches the midpalate, tempering the sweetness of a long, maple-rich finish. Lactose contributes to a creamy mouthfeel on a velvety base that drinks like the Sunday morning of a three-day weekend.
