Did you know that most hot sauces are aged in oak barrels? Nøgne Ø has been fortunate to acquire a number of bourbon barrels previously used by a well-known hot sauce producer. They added their rich tropical stout to the barrels, resulting in a hot blend they called Texas Tempest.
