The Bureaucrat is an Imperial stout, aged and blended in rum, bourbon, Bulgarian red wine casks aged on tonka and vanilla beans at 12.1%. Part of this beer has been in barrel for 2 years and part for 6 months.
The Tonka accentuates the cask character by bringing out more cinnamon, almond, coconut, marzipan and vanilla flavours. The barrels bring out big dark fruits, toffee, bright berries and lightly roasted fruity coffee.
