Triple Pastry Sour Ale with Lime, Pineapple, Passion Fruit, Banana, Blue Spirulina Algae and Vanilla
With the beer Tropical Space Muffin - if we can still call it a beer - we strived for an intense tropical experience and to achieve that, Mad Scientist finally added so much stuff that the ABV reached 11.5%.
It's pretty intense now.
They were always in an ambiguous relationship with pineapple. And wished they could find a way to work with it, but the fermentation profile was so far removed from the fresh fruit. Mad Scientist didn't want to use pineapple flavors to enhance that. Instead, they've tried working with a fruit combination where pineapple is the star of this beer.
