All You Need is Oak

This is the largest beer they have brewed to date. The 36 plato thick stout spent nearly 17 months in several super fresh, locally sourced whiskey barrels until they found them to be exactly where we wanted them. Delicious, thick, blackest black liquid presents the overwhelming aroma of dark caramel, milk chocolate and vanilla. The residual sugars are tightly balanced with a high alcohol content and a light tannin structure due to the long wood aging. By strictly avoiding all additives, they wanted this beer to be a pure expression of what a great stout can be if you give it enough time under the right conditions.
