Drinkability. That was the main goal of our collab with Bevog. Having been enjoying their certain West-German-style hoppy ale for years, we wanted to proceed in a similar wain and give it a contemporary twist. Using 10% of a very fine locally-grown rice, we invented a Frankenstein of a style that we decided to call a cold köl... ehm... pale ale. Rice lightens the body, dries it up and doesn’t stand in the way of the hops. Used sparingly, modern Slovenian and Czech varieties Dragon and Most provide a fresh aroma of passion fruit with lemon as well as pleasant, bold bitterness for ultimate pool-drinking beer.
