It's that time of year again. Hops harvest! Although Cataluña is not a huge hop growing area, there are some great small growers. One is Biolupulus which grows top quality organic hops. So they brewed Lacura 2022. To keep the malt bill the same, they slightly tweaked the dry hops to increase the Chinook portion over the Mosaic to further accentuate the pine and grapefruit notes. The result is an incredibly smooth IPA with a palpable grassy, ​​resinous undertone, but fruit on the front.
