The special edition of our imperial stout Black Bastard (normally 9.5% alcohol, now 12%) has matured for more than a year in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. The bourbon and wood influences are unmistakably present and give beautiful complex notes to the mildly roasted malt flavors.
