White Label Barley Wine Single Malt Islay Whisky BA 2023

The Emelisse Barley Wine is a true recurring phenomenon within the Emelisse White Label Series. This time brewed with a small characteristic twist, where hints of red fruit and smokiness from the Scottish Single Malt Islay whiskey barrels predominate in the aroma. The deep brown head and amber Barley Wine hide a prominent sweet note combined with a very complex roasted and peated note. The sweetness gradually fades into the background, after which the roasted and peated notes take over spectacularly.
