Schramm's Red Agnes is finer balanced and noticeably less sweet than its Scottish cousin, Black Agnes. Red currants provide deep floral aromas, a fruitier first impression, more focused acidity. Lighter and drinkable than Black Agnes, this mead is dangerously drinkable with a balanced acidity that allows the honey and fruit to go together very well in harmony.
